School Portraits with Sharon Leger Photography

Are you a local preschool, daycare, private school, or homeschooling community that is looking for a photographer that specializes in making school portraits actually fun?!

Here are the details:
1. We will pick a date for me to come to your school.

2. I create a consent form for families to complete, giving me permission to photograph their child.

3. All you have to do is share the event with your organization.

On the day of the event, I come in early to set-up (don't worry, I don't need much room!) and children can circulate in throughout the morning to be photographed. Families will receive their images within 2 weeks to purchase any images they love.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead do I need to book a date with you?

I would recommend reaching out as soon as possible since I have many schools that I visit annually, so my calendar fills quickly. Spots are first-come, first-served!

How many children need to sign up?

We need a minimum of 25 children registered to run the event.

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?

That is actually something we can discuss together after you submit the above inquiry form. Outdoors has a lot more variables (weather, etc.), but it could be a possibility!

What is the average cost to families?

Be sure to inquire about current pricing, but as of September 2026, individual student galleries can be purchased for $50 and siblings for $75 (+ CT sales tax).

Can siblings be photographed together?

Absolutely!

Where in the building will you set up?

All I need is a small space in a room that is easily accessible for children and that has an electrical outlet.

Do we need to provide a staff person?

I do ask for one point person to help bring children to me for photographing and keep a list of the order in which children are photographed. It helps when this person is someone familiar to help put little nerves at ease!

When will families receive their images?

Families will receive their images within 2 weeks. On the very slim chance that changes, I would communicate with you proactively so that expectations are clear to all.
