There’s something so magical about welcoming a new baby in the spring — the season of new beginnings, soft light, and all things blooming. This sweet little girl’s session was the perfect example of that magic! I had the absolute joy of photographing her at my studio in Canton, CT for her CT spring studio newborn portraits, and I still can’t get over how beautiful her gallery turned out.

She’s the youngest of three, but this time, she got to have the spotlight all to herself. From delicate florals to cozy poses, her session was full of soft color, tender moments, and pure sweetness.

When this family reached out, they told me they wanted a calm, relaxed experience for their newest arrival — something that focused entirely on their baby girl. As a mom of three myself, I know how special it is to have that one-on-one time with your youngest.

Since this baby girl arrived right as the Connecticut weather started to warm up, we decided to bring a little spring magic into the studio. The floral setups were paired with neutral backdrops to keep everything clean, bright, and timeless. For this baby girl’s CT spring studio newborn portraits, we focused entirely on her. Since she was the youngest of three, her parents decided to make this session just about her — a beautiful way to celebrate their final baby’s arrival.

Throughout the session, we worked through several setups: a few simple, sleepy poses; some close-up macro details; and the floral-inspired scene that became the highlight of her gallery.
