One of my favorite things as a CT baby photographer is watching a couple become parents. I first met these parents at their CT maternity session over the summer (check it out here). We had an epic evening, with the best sunset. I absolutely could not meet their new little one.
CT Baby Photographer | Newborn Session Outfits for Parents
When they arrived at the studio, we started with family pictures. This mom shopped from the Client Closet to pick a great dress. At her maternity session dress consultation, she had her eye on that dress. It could not have been more perfect for the family portion of their newborn session. As a CT newborn photographer, I love when clients choose whites and neutrals for parent photos. The reason is it elevates your final images. It also gives your images a classic, timeless look. No one has ever regretted neutrals at their newborn session!
The Newborn Studio Session
One of the best parts about this newborn session was how much these parents loved on their new little one. I teared up when I was capturing the mom with her little boy. And then he gave me a smile?! Are you kidding me?! There’s also just something about seeing a new dad totally in love with his baby that gets me every time. Is this seriously my job!? What I love the most about this family is their go with the flow attitude. They were game for absolutely anything and were really open to any ideas that I had.
As a CT newborn photographer, I love when clients book their maternity session with me first. It is a great way to get to know one another. It is so important to me to build trust with your CT baby photographer before your CT newborn session. I also love that you can walk into your CT newborn session with a ton of confidence. And, of course, I love loving on your newest addition!
