Welcome to the studio! I have been in this space since November 2019 and I am so excited to share it with you. It truly is my happy place, and I think you will find the same after you visit me. Know that before and after every session, the studio is thoroughly sanitized (link to Covid precautions) and cleaned. All that being said, welcome on your Canton CT Family Photography Studio Tour!
Canton CT Family Photography Studio Tour: Flexible Arrangement
If you come to my studio more than once, you’ll quickly learn that things never stay the same! I like to mix things up based on light and the seasons. I have two built-in backdrops that don’t move, but the furniture in the studio is constantly being rearranged. You never know what to expect!
Lifestyle and Posed
My goal for this space was to provide an area where families could get both posed and lifestyle shots. Many newborn clients want to do photos in their homes, yet know that their home doesn’t have a lot of light or it feels too overwhelming right after giving birth. No problem! That is why you will see a bed in the studio that is decorated seasonally. During the holidays, I will include twinkle lights and greenery as well, to give everything a home vibe.
Variety of Backdrops
Another goal that I had for this space was to allow for my backdrops to give clients variety in their images. I have a white, shiplap backdrop and a light brown backdrop that allow for different looks. I try to get a variety of shots with these different backgrounds to help match your own home style.
Props and Newborn Options
Finally, the majority of the studio is taken up by my props and options for my newborn session. All of my props are on display in the second room so that they are easily accessible. If you see something you love, I’m happy to pull it out and incorporate it into your session.
Canton CT Family Photography Studio Tour: Client Closet
A new addition to the studio is the Sharon Leger Photography Client Closet. The closet for women and families is available in the studio, along with a steamer. I love to have all of these dresses accessible so that you can “shop” during your session and choose the dress that’s right for you. The Client Closet is just so pretty, I could look at it all day.
While this is a smaller space, I was able to find room for the real priorities: coffee! I have a Keurig coffee machine, fully stocked that you can help yourself too, along with all the fixings. The refrigerator is also stocked with beverages, if coffee isn’t your thing. There is also a bathroom available in the studio.
I hope you enjoyed your Canton CT Family Photography Studio Tour! Thanks for checking out my happy place, I hope to see you here soon.
